Call (720) 794-0974Choosing between them
Most people don't need all of this explained. They need one question answered: which of these is my problem?
One fixture, drains slowly, first time
Drain cleaning. The blockage is almost certainly in that branch line: buildup on the pipe wall or a plug in the trap.
One fixture, but it keeps happening
Clogged drain repair, but the pattern matters. A clog that returns on a schedule usually means clearing has been treating a symptom.
More than one fixture at once
A main-line problem, not a fixture problem. Two drains sharing a fault means the fault is downstream of both. If it's actively backing up, treat it as an emergency.
It comes back every few months, same place
Rooter service, and probably a camera. In Denver, a main line that re-blocks predictably is very often roots at a clay joint.
A cable clears it but it never lasts
Hydro jetting territory. That's the signature of a coated pipe rather than a discrete blockage: grease in a kitchen line, scale in old cast iron. Jetting addresses the wall; a cable only channels through it.
Nobody can tell you why it keeps happening
Sewer camera inspection. The one to reach for before spending money on repeat clearing, or before anyone recommends a repair you can't verify.
Our six services

Drain cleaning
Clearing buildup and blockages from drain lines: kitchen, bathroom, laundry, floor drains and main sewer lines. The core service and the starting point for most calls.
See drain cleaning →
Clogged drain repair
The acute version: a specific fixture that won't clear. Kitchen sinks, tubs, showers, toilets, laundry standpipes and disposal lines, cleared mechanically.
See clogged drain repair →
Hydro jetting
High-pressure water that scours the pipe wall instead of cutting a channel through the blockage. Suited to grease, scale and lines that re-block on a cycle.
See hydro jetting →
Rooter service
Main sewer line clearing with a powered cable and cutting heads sized to the pipe. In Denver this is usually tree roots at the joints of pre-1960 clay laterals.
See rooter service →
Sewer camera inspection
A camera down the line to see what's actually there: roots, offset joints, bellies, scale, collapsed sections. Also used for pre-purchase sewer scopes.
See sewer camera inspection →
Emergency drain service
Active backups: multiple fixtures, sewage at a floor drain, overflow into finished space. Includes what to do before anyone arrives.
See emergency drain service →You'll know the price before we start
We look at the problem first, explain what's involved, and give you the price. Work only begins after you say yes.

Call (720) 794-0974What we don't do
We're a drain and sewer line service. That's deliberate, and it means there are jobs we're not the right call for.
We don't do water heaters, fixture replacement, gas lines, remodel plumbing, slab leaks or supply-side pipe repair. If your problem is water coming in rather than waste going out, you want a general plumber.
We also don't do sewer line replacement or trenchless repair at this stage. If a camera inspection shows a line that's beyond cleaning, we'll tell you plainly and explain what the options are. We'd just rather be straight that carrying out that work isn't currently something we offer.
Being narrow is the point. It keeps the equipment right for the work and the advice specific to it.

How the six fit together
These are not six separate products. Most calls touch two of them, and it helps to know which pairs go together before you ring anyone.
Drain cleaning and rooter service are the same machine at different scales. Both run a cable. The difference is the size of the cable, the size of the cutting head and where the line is reached from. A sink machine runs a quarter-inch cable maybe 50 feet, which is fine for a branch line. A main sewer lateral is 3, 4 or 6 inches across and can run 100 feet to the street. Calling one "drain cleaning" and the other "rooter" is category language, not two different trades.
Clogged drain repair is drain cleaning at the acute end. Same work, different urgency and usually a single fixture. It gets its own page because that's how people search for it and because the escalation path matters: one fixture is a branch problem, two or more is a main-line problem.
Camera inspection is a step, not a service you buy on its own. Its value is in what it prevents: paying to clear the same line four times, or agreeing to a repair nobody has shown you a reason for. It runs before clearing when the line's condition is unknown, and after clearing when you want to know why it blocked.
Hydro jetting is a method, not an upgrade. It is the right answer when the pipe is coated and the wrong answer when the pipe holds a single object. Anyone presenting it as the premium version of cabling is selling rather than diagnosing.
Emergency drain service is not a seventh service. It is one of the others, done urgently, with the triage conversation happening first on the phone.
Still not sure which pair applies to you? For exactly that, call (720) 794-0974 and describe the symptom.
Questions about our services
Do I need drain cleaning or rooter service?
It comes down to which line. One fixture draining slowly is a branch-line job, which is drain cleaning. More than one fixture, or a clog that returns on a schedule, points at the main sewer line, which is rooter work. If you are not sure, describe the symptom on the phone and we will tell you which it sounds like.
What's the difference between snaking and hydro jetting?
A cable cuts or pulls a channel through the blockage. Jetting scours the whole pipe wall with high-pressure water. Cabling suits a discrete object or root mass; jetting suits a coated pipe, meaning grease, mineral scale or sludge. Jetting costs more, and it is only worth the difference when coating is the actual problem.
Do you do sewer line repair or replacement?
Not at this stage, and that includes trenchless repair and CIPP pipe lining. We clear and inspect drain and sewer lines. If a camera shows a line that is beyond cleaning, we will tell you plainly and explain what the options are, but carrying out that work is not something we currently offer.
Can you tell me which service I need over the phone?
Usually, roughly. Which fixture, whether anything else is affected, when it started and roughly when the house was built is enough to narrow it to one or two. What nobody can do over the phone is confirm what is inside the pipe. That takes either clearing it or looking at it.
Do you handle commercial or restaurant drains?
Yes. Restaurant and multi-unit lines carry a heavier grease load than a home kitchen and generally need cleaning on a set cycle rather than when they block. Call and describe the setup, including how many fixtures feed the line and whether there is a grease interceptor.
Which service is cheapest?
Cabling a single accessible fixture is the least expensive work we do; main-line work with no accessible cleanout is the most. But cheapest per visit is not the same as cheapest overall. Clearing the same line four times costs more than looking once with a camera and dealing with the cause. See what drain cleaning costs in Denver.
Describe the symptom, we will name the service
Most people do not arrive knowing whether they need a cable, a jetter or a camera. That is normal, and it is a thirty-second conversation.
We look at the problem first, explain what is involved, and give you the price. Work only begins after you say yes.
- Which fixture is affected, and what else
- Whether it is a branch line or the main sewer line
- Whether the same clog keeps returning
- The price before any work starts
Not sure which one you need?
That's a normal place to start. Call and describe what your drain is doing: which fixture, when it started, whether anything else is affected, and we'll tell you which of these it is.
